Drummer Joey Kramer has revealed that band is ready to start work on a new album next year.

Kramer confirmed that band is positive to work on new album and that it would be a return to their classic rock sound.

"It's going to be an old-school Aerosmith record," he told Spinner.

"We're going to do it the old way with the whole band [in the same room] and it should be a good one. We're all anticipating."

He added that the band had yet to demo any new songs.
Aerosmith’s last studio album ‘Honkin’ On Bobo’ was released in 2004.
