Tyler has some interesting thing for Jennifer Lopez

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has some interesting thing for Jennifer Lopez .

Tyler and new judge on :American Idol", at the current event said about his new worker,
“First and foremost, she’s a lady and she’s not afraid to show that at any given time. She’s ridiculous. You know, she’s exactly what I thought she’d be. She’s street.”

So JLo is a mega-diva in addition to Jenny From the Block? Think about it, because Steven says Lopez’s honesty with the less-talented contestants is “incredible”.

It’s something we’ll be talking about until we’re six feet under. The body of work that he did in such a short period ... I think it’s astounding that he was able to do that and leave this incredible, lasting impression. It’s hard to grasp it all.”

Aerosmith Joey Perry Remark For Steven Tyler...!

Aerosmith Joey Perry and Steven Tyler enjoyed the lead guitarist/lead singer role relationship which is quite antagonist. Perry admitted to our friends at Spinner that "I don't know what's going to happen with the band.Perry in front of media has expressed his dissatisfaction with Tyler as he grab the position as a judge in American Idol which distract his attention from the band

Perry also said that "Steven wants to spend time in L.A. and do this," regarding the Idol post. Well, duh. It's only the biggest show on TV, if it doesn't prove to jump the shark this season with the slate of new judges. Perry further said, "He's always talked about doing stuff like that and I think he wants to try his hand at that. Let him go at it. That's an interesting endeavor. I hope he's really happy doing it." Do you sense a little venom in Perry's statements?

Regarding Aerosmith's future, Perry said, "I know that the band will always somehow put something together and play, whether it's two or three weeks out on the road and playing this or that or some charity stuff. I do not think this band is going to see its last show, that's how I feel."

While Perry does his thang with Jennifer Lopez, Perry is going to keep busy and play out to keep his creative juices flowing.

Will Idol spell the end of Aerosmith as we know it?

Steven Tyler and Aerosmith stop into Gastown pub for lunch

VANCOUVER — Steven Tyler and Aerosmith dropped in for lunch Wednesday at Gastown's 131 Water Social House, giving server Stacey Coplin a surreal experience.

"It didn't kick in until about 15 minutes into it. They were so normal, just down-to-Earth regular dudes," Coplin said. "They were so sweet."

They feasted on fish and chips and Tyler even made his own salad dressing with ingredients from the kitchen.

"They were here for about two hours, and are the nicest crew I think I've ever encountered in my life," said Genevieve Goheen, pub part-owner and service manager.

Coplin declined to say how much Tyler and the band tipped her, but she did say they were very generous.

"They were everything a server wants in a table. They were super polite," she said.

Guitarist Joe Perry did not put in an appearance at the pub.

Aerosmith left pub staff with tickets to Thursday's night's Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock Tour concert at Rogers Arena as well as two autographed business cards.

Aerosmith axman on edge ‘Idol’ rumors

Aerosmith rock 'n' roll partner axman Joe Perry put the blast on yesterday for learning about frontman Steven Tyler’s alleged “American Idol” gig on the Web.
“I found out on the Internet like the rest of the world,” said the guitarist when we reached him at the band’s tour stop in Dallas yesterday about “Idol” rumors about Steven.
“Afterparty Aerosmith at Studio 54 after the Vegas show which none of us in the band knew anything about and he said some stuff there. I mean, this is no small thing.”
Tyler, 40 years who has worked with Perry, told reporters on his way into the post show bash in Sin City that his future plans included “recording an album and (I’m) likely going to be a judge on ‘American Idol.’ ”
He also said, “I’m doing it. What do you think? I’m doing it.”
For the record, the “American Idol” producers haven’t confirmed the group of new judges that will replace Ellen DeGeneres and “Idol” major domo Simon Cowell. An announcement is expected in mid September, the Fox TV suits told critics the other day.
Perry said in his dressing room he conformed Steven before the band’s show at the MGM Grand Saturday night about the “American Idol” buzz. Tyler said he was instructed not to discuss it, said Perry.
“I mean, after working with me for 40 years, he couldn’t tell me about this,” the axman told the Track. “Why so secretive? We’re told it’s a done deal. If Steven is committed to a TV show, that kind of affects the rest of us. We’d like to plan our lives, ya know?”
After the not so heated convo backstage, Perry said, as usual, the band “pulled out all the stops” and gave the fans “what they have come to expect from us.”
And that’s exactly what Aerosmith plans to do on Aug. 14, when the Boston Bad Boys rock Fenway Park (map) with the J. Geils Band as their opening act.
“It will be epic and unforgettable - at least for me,” laughed Joe. “I can’t wait to hear J. Geils.”
In current years, Tyler, who has battled injuries and pill addiction, has become estranged from the band and has gone so far as to hire his own manager as well as his own publicist.
When Steven the tipping point came last summer, who was Livin’ on the Edge with a variety of pain medications, fell off the stage during a concert at a motorcycle rally in Sturgis, S.D., breaking his shoulder.
Tyler’s tumble forced the band to cancel its 2009 tour and Aerosmith nearly fell to pieces over the next few months the rest of the band vowed to go “on strike” - until Steven got sober.
Before entering rehab for a prescription addiction at Christmastime, Steven announced he wanted to take a two year hiatus from the band and work on “Brand Tyler.” The rest of the band Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford fired back by threatening to replace the frontman with a new singer.
In February, the Bad Boys and their various reps had a high powered powwow at an undisclosed location and decided to get Back in the Saddle. The Fenway Park gig was announced, a month later.

Continues Tour To Aerosmith

The celebrated rock band, Aerosmith, seems to have fashioned over the last year a lot of buzz. The rumor mills are targeting them, regarding upcoming shows as well as tours. Some have even questioned the legendary front man Steven Tyler’s devotion to the band.
During Tyler’s absence Joe Perry, lead guitarist sort of, knew about Tyler’s return. However, a new singer he did want to audition who would be more devoted to the band.
The band this way would be able to play all the shows for which they have been booked throughout 2010.
Perry freed his fans by saying that they haven’t recruited anyone to replace Tyler. Most fans claimed that without Steven Tyler, it wouldn’t even be Aerosmith.
Tyler finally made his expected comeback after he spent time in the rehab to get rid of his addiction to painkillers. He also made a declaration concerning the dispute that the band suffered throughout his absence. However, everything seems better now, since the band is playing better than before.

Aerosmith: Perry 'Lucky' He Was Unhurt In Bike Accident

AEROSMITH guitarist JOE PERRY is in shock following his motorcycle crash, because he can't believe how "lucky" he was to escape the smash without injury.
The rocker was taken to hospital last week (15Jul10) after his bike was struck by a car at traffic lights in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Bandmate Tom Hamilton spoke out to reassure fans the star was fine, confirming that Perry was "sore" but "doing good".
And Perry is thankful he was left unhurt unlike his "smashed up" bike.
Perry tells RollingStone.com, "Next thing I know, I'm on Tarmac looking up at the sky. This woman behind me just didn't slow down at the light. She was going 25-30 miles per hour and just rear ended me. Everything on the bike from the engine back is smashed up, but I don't even have a black and blue mark. I can't believe it. I'm just really lucky."
The driver who allegedly struck Perry, 62 year old Linda O'Brien, has been cited for following a vehicle too closely.

Perry's Injury Won't Affect Aerosmith Tour

Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton has confirmed guitarist Joe Perry will join the band on its North American tour later this month, just days after he was injured in a motorcycle accident.
Perry sustained unknown injuries after his motorcycle was struck by a car at traffic lights in Taunton, Massachusetts on Thursday.
The rocker, 59, was taken by ambulance to the nearby Morton Hospital and Medical Center where he was treated and released.
But Hamilton insists the band's previously announced tour, which is scheduled to begin on July 23 in Oakland, California, will go on as planned - and Perry is expected to take the stage.
In an interview with Boston's Fox 25 News radio programme on Friday, Hamilton said: "He's doing good. He's a bit sore today, but he's well, and we're looking forward to heading out to the West Coast (on) Wednesday to start doing some touring in the States."
Perry has suffered from knee pain for years and had a total knee replacement operation in 2008.

Aerosmith Plan New Album

A top story Aerosmith Plan New Album. Here it is again: Forget those earlier reports with Joe Perry's doubt about a new Aerosmith album, Rock Radio reports that Steven Tyler's return to Aerosmith means that fans can expect a new album soon.
Tyler himself feels that playing live "rekindles the fire for song writing" and that new material is "coming down the pike."
Perry and Tyler have already started the process and the guitarist adds: "The bottom line is we haven't done our best record yet, and we feel like first of all we owe it to ourselves, and second of all we owe it to our fans."

Tyler back with Aerosmith says band has never been better, After discord, rehab

The fall off the stage that caused the cancellation of Aerosmith's 2009 summer tour. His stint in rehab for prescription drug abuse. The fights with his bandmates, and the talk of replacing him as lead singer for Aerosmith.
That's because now that he's back at the helm of the pair belting out songs in front of thousands of fans nothing else matters.
"The band has never been better, I'm singing better," said an energetic Tyler in a current phone interview. "It's been beautiful and I realized when I was taking care of my problems that the band is all I actually care about."
Tyler — who is on tour with Aerosmith in Europe and starts a U.S. tour with the band on July 23 in Oakland, Calif. — talked currently about his battle for sobriety, putting the discord behind him and being a "dancing fool" at 62.
AP: What has it been like to play with the band after the tumultuous last year?
Tyler: It's been a great tour. You know it's a little hard for me. Being in Aerosmith is like living on the tail of a comet. I've had a lot of injuries over the last couple of the years. I had ACL reconstruction on my knee ... operations on my feet, my mom passed away. A lot of things came to play that made it easy for me to abuse some things. ... Even though some of the people in the band were going public with some of the stuff which turned very ugly, I managed to pull it all back together again and say, "Look, let's just get out there and be the band that we know we are and not argue about this crap anymore."
AP: How easy was that after the ugliness?
Tyler: I realize that certain people that decide to go in the press with dirty laundry, I just have to look the other way and realize I need to keep my side of the street clean, and they do what they do. It's actually unfortunate that certain people were Twittering and going to the press. It got really ugly, but you know, again, I just went back to them and I said ... "More than anything, I really want to play with this band. I really love this band and I love who I've become because of the band." ... Everyone's got their problems and their demons, but when we get onstage and play as five, that really all goes away, and that's really all I look at now.
AP: There has been tension in Aerosmith throughout the years. Are you still able to be friends as well as bandmates?
Tyler: I'm doing a book called "Does the Noise in My Head Bother You," and I will be speaking about what it's like to be married to four other guys, and what I've had to put up with. ... There will never be another band like Aerosmith, and I just don't want to do anything to hurt that. I love the band so much.
AP: You are in pain and have battled back from an addiction to pain medicines. How do you prevent yourself from falling into past patterns on this new tour?
Tyler: I realize that the best part of me is who I am sober so that's all there is to it. ... I don't know whether I will use tomorrow, but today I'm glad. ... There's a 500 pound gorilla on my back, waiting in the parking lot for me that wants to take me down, and I won't for any reason go out there and deal with that. I have to get a knee replacement, I have to have another operation on my feet, and I'll let a nurse take care of my stuff. I just can't be around that stuff anymore. I need to be a power of example for my bandmates, don't I? (laughs)... I'm still in Aerosmith so the circus is still in town. So when it comes to dealing with the band, I take it a day at a time with these guys.
AP: Is a new Aerosmith album coming?
Tyler: The truth is I've never stopped writing. I've got 12 songs I'm sitting on right now for a solo record. Aerosmith has to finish a studio album; we're gonna do that first.
AP: Do you feel that you are more careful onstage now? Are you tentative?
Tyler: I'm a dancing fool out there. I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to risk taking, but I do what I do. ... I am (more careful) when it's raining. I don't do anything ... I'm real careful when it comes to that. But ordinarily, I've gotten real strong jumping over all the pedals my guitar players have out there in the middle of the stage and the monitor wedges. It's like a little hurdle out there for me.
AP: Can you see yourself doing this 10, 15 years from now?
Tyler: I'll be doing this 20 years from now. I'll be doing this as long as sound comes out of my mouth.

Aerosmith 02 Arena at London

"The bad boys of Boston", as their website labels these 60 something millionaires, haven't released a studio album since 2001, as Febuary and as currently were planning to replace frontman Steven Tyler because of his addiction to painkillers. Yet here Aerosmith are, evidently the best of friends again, introducing a surprisingly young crowd to the finer points of rocking out in tight silver britches.
Template the Aerosmith – power riffs served up with glam-rock visual flair – was established 40 years ago, and has never been updated. But the formula works better than you might expect. Tyler's face looks like a latex mask these days, but he wears a look through fringed shirt and black nail varnish without looking too tragic, and still brings off the taxing falsetto screech at the end of their signature anthem, Dream On. Guitarist Joe Perry – Keith to Tyler's Mick – is flashy as only a 70s survivor can be, playing guitar and theremin simultaneously on Sweet Emotion and a double necked guitar for Livin' On the Edge.
With none of the particular effects of most arena acts, the onus falls on Tyler to provide thrills. He's never still: when not twirling the mic stand over his head, he's getting touchy feely with Perry, cuddling up and slapping his fedora on to the guitarist's head. Perry gets his moment in the spotlight, proficiently singing lead on Stop Messin' Around, but Tyler has the magnetism. "I was a high school loser, never made it with the ladies," he bawls on Walk This Way, but that's hard to credit. Tyler a loser? No – Aerosmith owe him their continued existence.

Rain clears for Aerosmith's headline Download set

The skies over Donington Park cleared in order for Aerosmith to play a dry festival closing show at Download (June 13).Playing their first UK show since 2007's Hard Rock Calling in London's Hyde Park, Aerosmith opened up their main stage set with their 1989 single 'Love In An Elevator'.Wearing a black hat, sunglasses and a calf-length sequinned coat, frontman Steven Tyler sang much of the song from the walkway which jutted out into the middle of the crowd, using his trademark scarf-decorated microphone stand. After the second song, 'Back In The Saddle', Tyler yelled to the audience 'Britain! Did you miss us?' and the crowd responded with eager cheers. Tyler's impressive vocal acrobatics on the likes of 'What It Takes' also drew an enthusiastic audience reaction, as did the loud belch that Tyler finished 'Eat The Rich' with, asking for a spotlight on him before unleashing the rumbling burp. Joe Perry - who played a double necked guitar on 'Living On The Edge' - sang lead vocals on the band's cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Stop Messin' Around', after thanking the crowd for 'sticking around after three days of great rock and roll' and announcing 'we're gonna play a little blues for you'.In skin tight gold snakeskin print trousers and matching waistcoat, Tyler played harmonica on the song, and also played a solo on the instrument during an emotive 'Cryin''. After the band's rendition of 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing', Tyler mentioned that the song was their first ever Number One, but that he thought the following song 'Sweet Emotion' should have been their first. Perry then played theremin as well as guitar towards the end of the 1975 classic rock single. After the final song, 'Toys In The Attic, Tyler introduced the band to the audience, before Perry returned the favour and called Tyler 'the best lead singer on the planet'. To celebrate this honour, Tyler took off his top.

Aerosmith Sued Over Cancelled Canadian Shows

Rockers AEROSMITH are facing a multi million dollar lawsuit from promoters in Canada after they cancelled a string of shows in the country last year (09).
The band scrapped a chunk of its North American tour in 2009 after frontman Steven Tyler broke his left shoulder falling from the stage at a gig in South Dakota.
The axed dates included five concerts in Canada last August (09), and now executives at Keystone Entertainment Group Ltd. have filed suit against the band, alleging the musicians breached their contract by scrapping the shows and failing to respond to requests to reschedule the dates.
The legal papers, filed in a Calgary court, claim bosses at Keystone reached out to the rockers last September (09) in a bid to plan new concerts, but received no response.
The lawsuit alleges the company lost money and seeks $6 million (£4 million) in damages for lost ticket sales and profits for the five concerts, according to the Toronto Sun.
Aerosmith kick off a European tour on Thursday (10Jun10) in Sweden, before embarking on a series of North American shows, including one concert in Canada, in July (10).

Aerosmith tickets for NY State Fair could be expensive

Aerosmith Tickets for their upcoming show at the New York State Fair are likely to cost a pretty penny after the band became the first in the event's history to be paid a $1 million (£698,000) performance fee.

The swaggering rockers' fee far exceeds those of previous performers such as country stars Rascal Flatts orTaylor Swift, according to The Post Standard.

What's more, if the event, due to take place on August 26th, sells out, the Bad Boys from Boston will receive an extra $300,000, the website reports.

Talking up the impending performance, fair spokesperson Frederic Pierce said: "We're incredibly excited about this concert."

Aerosmith will be playing the event to wind down their 2010 tour of South America and Europe.

The plans involve UK dates at the Download Festival (June 13th) and London's O2 Arena (June 15th).

Commenting on the 2010 tour, lead singer Steven Tyler said: ""Back by popular demand with more spit and fire than ever before, we're coming across the pond and parting the waters as we go."

Aerosmith concert in Lima, Peru draws 30 thousand fans

In their first concert appearance in Peru, Aerosmith played in front of more than 30 thousand in the capital city of Lima on Saturday, May 22.
"Buenas noches, mi gente del Peru," lead singer Steve Tyler saluted the crowd in Peru, reported local media.
Aerosmith began with "Eat the Rich" and played 16 songs, including an encore of "Crazy," "Walk this Way," and the cover "Train Kept a-Rollin'" (see complete set list.) During the song "Cryin'" Tyler put on a chullo, the traditional knit Peruvian hat, to screams of approval of the crowd.
"Dressed in a shiny suit, animal-striped hat, golden pants and black shades, [Steven Tyler] came on stage dancing without abandon, making serpentine and robotic movements with his slight body, and with a voice capable of breaking any glass in his way," writes Daniel Meza, author of the Aerosmith en Lima blog.
The band arrived to Lima on Friday after concerts in Colombia and Venezuela, and stayed at Lima's Marriott hotel. According to local press, Areosmith ate classic Peruvian dishes like ceviche and lomo saltado at the restaurant Huaca Pucllana -- although Steven Tyler reportedly stayed in the hotel.
Aerosmith plays in Chile on Tuesday, gives two concerts in Brazil -- Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo -- and ends their tour of Latin America in Costa Rica. They start their European tour on June 10 in Sweden.

Aerosmith's Joe Perry says Steven Tyler is 'stronger than ever' , ready to tour

Less than three months after a seemingly Humpty-Dumptyed Aerosmith appeared destined for an inglorious, Steven-less end, the reconciled rockers sound full of sweet(ish) emotions.
This weekend, an August 14 hometown gig at Boston’s Fenway Park sold out in less than 24 hours; the string of scheduled European and South American tour dates—excepting a canceled Buenos Aires stop—are a go. And today, guitarist Joe Perry, who only recently seemed to be leading the Brutus-vs.-Ceasar brigade, spoke of frontman Tyler in fond, conciliatory tones.
Steven “didn’t really leave the band,” Perry tells Reuters today. “He made it very clear from the very beginning that he wasn’t going to leave the band and he just wanted some solo time.”
“The press kind of twisted it around to sell papers but you know the bottom line is I just knew things were just going to work themselves out,” he continued. “And he is back and he is stronger than ever.”
Perry does admit, though, that their friendship is not what it once was:“When our kids were younger and our kids were growing up together we were a lot closer together,” Perry said.”As the kids got older and they started going off their own ways and Steven ended up getting divorced … you know, the family get-together, we don’t really do that much any more. But it doesn’t interfere with the band.”

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith Sang “God Bless America” During RedSox Opening

Steven Tyler, frontman and lead vocals of Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, sang “God Bless America” during at the Boston RedSox opening Sunday evening.
Stephen Victor Tallarico in real life, father of Liv Tyler, had faced life’s tough and hard setbacks but still emerged as a fighter.
For the past four years, this rocker underwent a lot of things. From throat surgery and a kiss back to fame, admitted to a rehab center, multiple leg surgeries gone Tyler — whose band hails from Boston — has had throat surgery, pursued a solo career– uncertain whether the move was good and indefinite, addiction to painkillers, death of his beloved mother Susan Ray Tallarico…Tough!
On Sunday, Tyler, on the field of Fenway Park with 21-year-old daughter Chelsea, gave the patriotic song an appropriate rock ‘n roll twist, nailing high notes in the open-throated style that made hits out of songs like “Love in Elevator” and “Walk this Way.”

‘Let’s Stay Together’ one more time

Like Pavement and Soundgarden and Aerosmith, all formerly great bands that are plugging in once more. The latter, which looked all but finished after its 61-year-old frontman toppled off the stage in South Dakota and landed in rehab in LA, is being reborn just in time for the lucrative concert season.

What a shock, right? By all accounts, Joe Perry’s had it up to the neck of his Gibson Les Paul with Steven Tyler’s bizarre behavior, but after four decades and 14 records, the pair’s profit motives are as strong as ever. Who cares if 10 years have passed since the Toxic Twins released a lick of original music. There’s a mountain of money to be made in Europe and South America.

No matter how bitter a breakup is, most bands will get back together if the price is right. Just ask Don Henley, who famously said the Eagles would reunite “when hell freezes over,’’ but then — ka-ching! — changed his mind. Or Sting and Stewart Copeland, who could barely conceal their contempt for each other, but managed to put on a happy face for the Police’s 2007-08 world tour that grossed over $350 million.

That’s fine. It is called the music business, after all. But give credit to the Pixies, who had the decency to call the DVD chronicling their reunion tour “Sell Out.’’ And surly Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten, who in 1996 summoned old mates Paul Cook and Glen Matlock for the aptly titled “Filthy Lucre’’ tour. (Judging from the lackluster reviews, fans who didn’t feel cheated by the punk pioneers the first time sure got swindled the second time.)

I actually admire bands that can’t get beyond the bad feelings, even for a million bucks. Look at Boston, whose first LP sold more than 17 million copies — the all-time record for a debut disc. Hell really will freeze over before Boston founder Tom Scholz books time in the studio with guitarist Barry Goudreau and drummer Sib Hashian. And Creedence Clearwater Revival? Don’t expect John Fogerty to reconvene with Stu Cook and Doug Clifford. Fogerty is a man of the people, just not those people. (No less dysfunctional are the Jam, the Smiths, Talking Heads, and Grant Hart and Bob Mould of Husker Du, whose relationship can be summed up by their song “Never Talking to You Again.’’)

Then there are the Kinks. For the past couple of years, my slightly obsessed colleague Geoff Edgers has been on a mission to reunite the British band led by the irascible Ray Davies and his brother Dave. Edgers’s quest is documented in the new film “Do It Again,’’ which screens April 24 at the Somerville Theatre as part of the Independent Film Festival Boston. Is it petty, after all these years, that Ray and Dave can’t stop their squabbling and treat fans to a few of their hits, including “Sunny Afternoon,’’ “Waterloo Sunset,’’ “You Really Got Me,’’ and “Misfits’’? Absolutely. Do I think they will? Hmm. See the movie and tell me what you think.

Hugo Burnham knows a little bit about band dynamics. He is, or was, the drummer for the great British band Gang of Four, playing on the group’s first three records. But in 1983, without warning, Hugo was sacked by his bandmates.

“By then, we were arguing about the price of a Mars bar,’’ says Burnham, who lives in Gloucester now and teaches at the New England Institute of Art and Endicott College. “I guess it’s better to be a bright comet in the sky than a waning moon.’’

Time heals all wounds, though, and in 2005, when radio was playing a bunch of Gang of Four imitators like Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Burnham and the boys gave it another try. They played a series of well-received shows in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Brazil, and it was fun — for a while.

“Every time on stage was stunning. Nobody was disappointed,’’ says Burnham. “But we got into terrible fights about the business side of things. It was manipulative and horrible, and eventually I’d had enough.’’

The drummer knows his days as a rock star are probably behind him, but he doesn’t begrudge other acts from hitting the stage long after their heyday.

“It’s easy taking money from people who want to give it to you. I can’t criticize that,’’ says Burnham. “Look, if there was a Gang of Four cover band, I’d be horrified and fascinated, but I’d go see them.’

Aerosmith drummer challenges fans to “Hit Hard” competition

Rock solid rhythms of Aerosmith's legendary drummer, Joey Kramer is unbeatable. However now iPhone users can challenge their drumming skills on Kramer’s recently launched iPhone application “Hit Hard”. This move has come after celebrity Services Company Paid Inc. collaborated with Kramer to challenge iPhone fans drumming skills with a new application.
According to Keith Garde, President of Paid Inc. Boston, Aerosmith and Joey Kramer have always been about connecting with their fans in the most cutting-edge ways and this new application is another step in that direction. It consistently continues to support the band in reaching their fans in whatever platform, technologies and methods they are using.
The application also has a different feature for those users who do not want to compete with Kramer’s beat. These users can create their own beats in a freestyle play. Each level in the game has a mock lesson where users can tap the correct sequence to match his beat. Players who will be able to finish all the levels of the game can enter the high score contest for a chance to win a prize from Kramer.
According to Garde, though the application is currently available only for the iPhone and iPod touch, the company is looking forward to expand it into other smartphone platforms.

In Todays Aerosmith Soap Opera, Steven Tyler Returns

Steven Tyler is back with Aerosmith, at least for two shows.

The band has confirmed that they will play, with Tyler, at the Download Festival on June 13.
In a statement for Download, Tyler confirmed his presence saying "In the early days of Aerosmith we were infected with the vibe coming out of the UK with The Yardbirds, Blues Breakers, Pretty Things and the Stones, and we wanted what they had bad. So baby, we¹re coming home. Rock & Roll can be pure sex and we can¹t wait to Download..."

Drummer Joey Krammer also confirmed the reunion via Twitter. “Aerosmith is back,” he wrote.
The sudden disintegration of Aerosmith was indeed bizarre. Tyler fell off stage last October in Hawaii and from then the band has been a continuous soap opera.
Tyler said in an interview soon after that he had left the band saying he was working on “Brand Tyler”.

Then Aerosmith announced they would continue without him and get a new lead singer.
Just recently on January 20, 2010 Joe Perry announced that the band was about to hold auditions for Tyler’s job.
As well as Download, Aerosmith with Tyler will perform at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 10.
